Could Persecution come to the United States?

About a year and a half ago I was trimming the weeds at my house and my weedwacker went crazy on me!  It let loose and whipped my leg over and over and I can remember looking down at my leg, the first thought that came into my mind after this "little whip" was.... I wonder what Jesus went through?  Right after that the thought came through my head...Persecution is coming.  This happened on a Sunday afternoon on May 24, 2014.  On Monday I called my brother and shared the story with him.  He said you got to be kidding me.  Yesterday I was trimming my tree and a branch whipped me across the chest and left a big mark. I looked down and had the thought, I wonder how Jesus felt?  The same action, the same thought, the same time on that Sunday afternoon.  At the time this happened Christians had faced no persecution in America.  I let this go for about a year and then it has came to my mind over and over again as the tide of change has started to come in America.  For the first time the church is under minor persecution, nothing compared to the days of Jesus.  Could the start of persecution of Christians be coming to America?  I sure hope not but I think it could be.  If it does are we ready to risk it all for our faith in Jesus?  Are we willing to stand up against culture even if it affects our financial situation?  What if we could lose our job?  What if.....  I believe if it does it could be the greatest and the worst days the world has ever witnessed.  The greatest days because we will see the true church arise.  We will see the Acts church come back, the days of miracles, signs and wonders. The days of people risking it all and leaving it all to pursue the greatest gift of all Jesus Christ. Just like the days of Peter.  Fishing along the seashore and at the sound of his voice, dropped his net to follow Jesus. Will you be willing to risk it all if persecution does come?  Good News.... The bible says we will be in good hands...The Kingdom of God is coming,  Jesus is coming back!

But when they arrest you, do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say, Mathew 10:19

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?  Roman s 8:35

 Yes, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution  2 Timothy 3:12

What is our Hope? Our hope is in Jesus and I believe he is coming to redeem his bride! 

WOODLAWN Movie Release October 16 - REVIVAL

Never have I been this excited for the release of a movie.  We were part of a group that saw the pre-screening of the movie Woodlawn prior to its release in the theaters. I have personally seen it 3 times and am just as anxious to see it again on October 16.  The message resonates with my heart and back in 2006 when God came upon my and I surrendered my life to him the word that was laid on my heart was REVIVAL.  It started with a personal REVIVAL in my life and then a REVIVAL in my relationship with my wife and family.  From there Revival spread throughout many different areas of our life including community, business and much more.  Was it a Revival of the olden days?  Not quite, but it was a true personal awakening to the presence of God in my everyday life.

This is why this message/movie is so strong on my heart. It has been the prayer of many in our nation for years.  We pray daily for a spiritual awakening in America!  We are longing for the days when people put God first in their life and miracles begin to breakout all across the country.  The day theaters are filled with people seeking God, the day churches and prayer house are filled with people seeking the Lord.  The day we can see stadiums not only used for the gathering of sports but used to gather the body of Jesus Christ all across the nation.  This is the DREAM we have had on our heart for 8 years.  It is the #1 thing I long to see in my lifetime.  Why?   I believe Revival could preserve our country for another generation and save people,  families, churches, & businesses  all across the nation.  Revival can change the course for our children's future. That is WHY we choose to pray for Revival everyday.  i love my kids too much to see our nation slip away.  Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.  I believe this movement will start with a prayer of repentance.  This movement may start around a verse that many leaders and past generations prayed over and over again.  The prayer of repentance, the one that stirs God's heart to move upon us again!

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
 

So where do we go from here?  We start by praying in our homes. We pray together and we begin to gather people seeking God.  I think this movie is a great way to invite a friend, neighbor or co worker to hear an amazing message that will impact people from all walks of life.  It is a mesage on faith, family, hardships, struggles, relationships and so much more.  It is not a movie just for football fans, this a a movie for everyone.  See you in the theaters!

The Freedom Flag Flies at our house...

This morning I was out mowing the lawn about 10:30 Am looking up at this flag, thoughts coming to my mind, thankful for the opportunity we were given years back to build an Advocare business. What other job would allow you to be mowing your lawn on a Wednesday morning, with your kids chasing after you while your wife is at a bible study?  Today we live a lifestyle we only dreamed of 7 short years ago.  7 years ago I was a small business owner working 60 hours a week looking for energy and extra cash flow.  I had a friend from Sioux Falls who called me with an amazing product and an income opportunity. We said "Yes".  Little did we know that life was about to change.  We found nutritional's we loved, that improved our energy and everyday life.   Jenna lost 20 pounds and we found something that worked!  

Where we were....
